What If It Wants To Know If I Want To Format C: Or D: Which Is Only One Harddrive?
I need to format my 40G xp harddrive. Says it can't find harddrive. It actually put xp in all the Wat to the end and then pops up and says it can't find the harddrive. Any ideas for me. The pins are set to Cable Select. This harddrive already has xp on it and can't repair as we do not know the administrators password. Thanks, Jan

Normally the operating system is installed on C and D is set as a partition.I recommend format D
