I Would Like To Find Out How I May Tryout For A Minor League Baseball Team?

Answer Question

Actually you can't directly tryout for a minor league baseball team. This is because no minor league ever has tryouts; instead they are assigned players by the Major League that they are affiliated with. So in order to get in to a minor league you first need to be selected by a major league scout.

The Major League Scouting Bureau is responsible for several tryout camps held around the United States of America. You can contact them directly for further information at 909-980-1881.

In fact every year in the month of June, Major League Baseball has a draft for players who have never signed a Minor or Major league contract. It is the least important professional sports drafts in the States. This is because other drafts feature players that will immediately plat for the team that they are drafted by, whereas in this draft has a minor league system that helps players to refine their skills.
