Some of the best-selling books include The Bible (around 6 billion copies sold), The Lord of the Rings (100 million), several of the Harry Potter books (between 50 to 90 million for each one), Charlotte's Web, The Tale of Peter Rabbit (45 million), To Kill A Mocking Bird (30 million).

Best-selling series include the Harry Potter series (375 milion), Goosebumps (300 million), Noddy (200 million), Mr Men (100 million), The Chronicles of Narnia (100 million), Winnie The Pooh (70 million).

Some of the best-selling authors include J.K Rowling (her sixth Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince sold nearly ten million copies on 16th July 2005, its release date), Enid Blyton (over 400 million books worldwide), and Agatha Christie (a billion worldwide).

I own a bookstore, and the best selling novels right now are "for one more day, by Mitch Albom. (Mitch does not capitalize any of the words in his tittles!), "Finding Noel" by Richard Paul Evans, and "Dear John" by Nicholas Sparks. These books are selling as fast as I can get them into the store.

A best selling non-fiction book right now is "You on a Diet" by Michael F Roizen, M.D., and Mehmet C OZ, M.D. This book is suppose to show you the healthy way to loose weight and keep it off without having to stick to a diet!

Probably one of the best books i have ever read is called The Posionwood Bible [once started, won't be able to put down] another one of my all time favorites is Stephen King's: The Stand [probably one of his best books he has ever written] and then there is the series known as Flowers In The Attic [i can't recall the author of these books], and i really lilked this one by Jonathon Steinbeck: The Grapes of Wrath, last of all any of the Mitch Album books: Tuesday with morrie, five people you meet in heaven, his latest book right now i can't remember the title but it's posted on web page with answers to your ?. The books i have mentioned may not be a series however every book has sold millions and they are definitely worth taking the time to read them. Hope this helps
