Unfortunately many rabbits do have the potential to become aggressive. This is because they are very strong willed creatures and they like to do what they want to do. Many rabbits end up in animal shelters because of their unexpected aggression because most owners do not know how to handle it.

Usually you can tell what a rabbit is going to turn out like at the age of around 4-6 months. In a rabbits case it is untrue that a lot of handling will tame them. It may help, but not all rabbits learn from being handled and if they decide they don't like it then nothing will change their minds.

Rabbits bite, kick and scratch if they cannot get their own way and sometimes the aggression is so severe, some owners need stitches after the rabbit has attacked them. Overall they can make good pets but many of them are aggressive and are definitely not suitable for children.

Our female rabbit became very aggresive--biting and screaming. Once she was "fixed" she became a great, friendly pet. We keep her in a large 4' by 5' enclosure, and she is litter-box trained.

If you are asking this because you are thinking of buying one, I suggest you don't. My father decided to buy rabbits because he used to have some as a child and wanted to relive his childhood. We kept the rabbits outside in a penned area in the yard, which was actually quite large. However, the rabbits escaped by digging holes in the ground and got into the neighbor's flowers. Complaints rolled in and finally, some of the rabbits began to get sick. They eventually needed to be put to sleep, but the experience was not worth it. So much money was wasted on a useless pet that you cannot train very easily, you cannot teach to play games, and you cannot hold very easily. I suggest not getting a rabbit for these reasons.

Is ShakeIt100 for real? The question was are rabbits cute and cuddly not what do you do if you allow your rabbit to run into someone's garden and eat their plants then get the poor things put down.
I'm so glad you don't have rabbits. it's people like you who make me sick. You should be banned from keeping animals full stop with a disgusting attitude like this. "A useless pet" ?? I breed rabbits and have pet rabbits including indoors. Most are house trained to the litter tray. have you even tried? As for playing games, what are you referring to? Hide and seek maybe, in your neighbours garden? my rabbits play for ages with their toys, and chase rattling balls or treat balls. I suggest you buy a Barbie doll and stop giving people ridicullous answers.
