How Do I Be One With Nature?

Spend time outside in quiet spaces, listening to the sounds of nature, breathing deeply, and enjoying the beauty and silence around you.  Look at all the beauty that exists, feel how you are connected to it all and in turn, with the universe too.

In addition to simply spending time in nature, observing it, and enjoying/honoring it, studying nature and nature's creatures is also a great method to become closer to nature.

Frankly, though, I don't believe whoever told you this dying bit. We're all technically dying very slowly and eternal physical life is not something that has been discovered yet. Being one with nature can be very empowering and can enrich your life, but not being one with nature isn't going to kill you. :D
