    Aberdeen is the name of the city. This city is in Scotland. It is also known as 'The Granite City'.

    Aberdeen is the third largest city in Scotland. It is a very big city having large population of 202,370 approximately.

    This city is also called as 'Silver City'. It is known as the 'Chief Commercial Centre'. It is also famous as the 'Oil Capital Of Europe' and offers good services for the extraction of crude oil.  

    Aberdeen city has oil deposits in the large extent. These oil deposits are in the North Sea. There are about 900 oil companies present in Aberdeen city.

    These oil companies pump 1.8 million barrels in one day from over 250 oil fields.  Almost 30,000 people are working in the oil companies.

    Aberdeen city has good oil business and making profit in that business. Because of this, the city has become rich.

    At present, the cost of producing a barrel of oil is increasing.
