How Safe Is It To Get Pregnant When You Have Hpv?

I am new to Blurit but what I am inquiring about is HPV. I want to have a baby soon but was recently told that I have HPV. So I want to know is it safe to have a baby after finding out that I have HPV and will this affect the baby in anyway?

    There is conflicting evidence for transmission. Most OBGYNs say that it is okay. It depends on the type almost.  Types HPV-6 and HPV-11 are of the most concern.  They can cause a very rare, but serious condition titled RRP.  If you are curious, look it up on the Internet.  

    Overall, having HPV during pregnancy is not a major concern.  You can do the world good but participating in a clinical trial that is examining the possible complications of HPV infection during pregnancy.  See clinicaltrials.gov.  Search for HPV pregnancy.

      Depends on the severity, but overall, there isnt any harm.  They take all precautions so that the child will be fine.

        Your doubt is true. Your baby can be infected by HPV. So it is not safe to get pregnant. There is no cure for HPV infection and it goes away by itself. For more information on HPVm visit the following link.
