Will The Aloe Vera Supplement Cause Nausea?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Aloe Vera has been used since centuries for various health problems. This plant is native to Africa. However, now it is grown in almost all parts of the world, except for the areas with extreme cold.

The outer layer of the leaves have a gel or juice which has exceptional healing powers that can be used for hair and skin problems.

However, there can be some side effects of this herb, especially in people who are allergic to this plant. There could be allergic reactions such as hives, eczema rash etc. Other side effects include redness, burning if applied on wounds. It could cause cramping or diarrhea if used as laxative by mouth. Prolonged use can cause colorectal cancer.

It can also cause low blood sugar levels which could cause nausea. Thus you need to consult a doctor if you intend to take an Aloe Vera supplement
