    Idaho is a city that is located in the Pacific Northwest of the United States. The biggest city is Boise. It is also known as the Gem State, since it is a complete land of natural resources. The motto of this state is Esto Perpetua, which means "Let it be perpetual".

    The southern side of Idaho comprises of Boise metropolitan area, Idaho Falls, Pocatello, and Twin Falls are in the Mountain Time Zone. To the north are Salmon River, including Coeur d'Alene, Moscow, and Lewiston, are in the Pacific Time Zone. It shares its land borders with the state of Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Utah, Montana, Wyoming and the Canadian province of British Columbia. Some of the significant rivers that flow through this area are Snake River, the Clearwater River and the Salmon River. Other important rivers are the Boise River and the Payette River.
