The book "Soldier's Bride" is a collection of three different novels written by different authors. These authors have contributed their stories to create one book. This book consists of Debbie Macomber's "5-B Poppy Lane". In this novella, a Christmas card exchanged between Ruth Shelton, a student and Paul Gordon. A mutual feeling of liking develops between the two, turning slowly and surely into love. Now Ruth is not sure whether she should marry a soldier. The story revolves around her decision making and her inner conflicts.
"The Apple Orchard" authored by Katherine Stone also adds an impact to the book. Elizabeth the lead character turns up at her maternal home seeking comfort and finds Nick her childhood friend close and comforting. However, Nick does not only want to comfort her but marry her and see her happy. Another story is "Liberty Hall" by Lois Faye Dyer. In this story Chole Abbot arrives at her grandmother's house to seek help, when she realizes that she is in danger. Her grandmother is a code breaker. What Chole does not want interference in her life with relation to her partner Jake Morrissey. This book is full of entertainment and thrill.
