Japan has Constitutional Monarchy type of government. Japan basically is an island country based in East Africa. It is situated in the Pacific Ocean and is placed towards the east of China, Korea and Russia, extending from the Sea of Okhotsk in the northern region to the East China Sea in the Southern region.

The name of Japan literally means "the sun's origin", it is also referred to at times as "The Land of The Rising Sun", a name which has been given to the country as of its eastward position towards mainland Asia.

The capital of Japan is Tokyo, which is also its largest city. The total population of Japan is estimated as 128 million people, which makes it the tenth largest population in the world.
