The most important thing to do in this case is to let the doctor know of this problem. Do not be embarrassed or do not try to neglect this issue. May be the medicine is not suiting you. When you bring this issue forward to the doctor, he may prescribe an alternative medicine which will not give you this side-effect. There are over-the-counter (OTC) medicines for diarrhoea which can be brought even without the doctor's prescription. These anti-diarrhoeal drugs may be effective but I may advise you against buying OTC drugs, since your case could be a side-effect of an already prescribed medication. Your doctor, as mentioned above may give you an alternative medication or put you onto some antibiotics that will cure the diarrhoea.
