    Bordeaux's Big Park Has A Statue Memorializing The Girondists. What's Its Full Story?

    I know that the Girondists were a group from the Bordeaux area who fought in the French Revolution. But there's some story about the statue's travails during World War II and its subsequent remantling. Anyone know the full story?
