He's my best friends brother. She says that he really likes me. He's shy though. And I would like 2 ask him out, We know each other for 3 years but we are talking for a year now. At school he always says hello and smiles at me even 10 times at one break.

Hmm that is tough. Ask him if he wants to hang out with you sometime. Or maybe tell him you want to go see a movie that is coming out but you don't want to go see it alone.
