What Is The Form, Structure And Language Of The Poem By William Blake 'The Echoing Green'?

    The poem The Echoing Green is written by William Blake which is taken from his collections of poem called Songs of innocence. It is a pictorial poem. It is a symbolic poem and draws a contrast between youth and old age. It starts off in a happy and joyful mood and with the passage of each stanza the language and the mood becomes more and more sad and bleak.
