What Does Synchronisation Mean?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

When you say Synchronisation am assuming you are talking about data synching,Data synchronization refers to the idea of keeping multiple copies of a data set in coherence with one another, or to maintain data integrity.the actual process of synchronisation entails updating data from the most current location to the least current location.in order for synchronisation to take place two data locations must be available, for example:if you own a window mobile Cell Phone and also own lets say a laptop that you use on a daily basis for business(emails & stuff),each & every time you connect your phone to the laptop it will ask you wheter you would like to synch data between the 2 devices,if you should agree to the request, window will now begin matching or pairing the data thats available on both devices.should it be found that your phone has not been updated  with certain data let say you email contacts, then window will synch you phone to match your laptop contact-in a nutshell its basically updating of data in order to create an exact replica of the the data-what ever you have on the phone should be kept up to date with what you have on the laptop,it like a mirror
