How Does A Satellite Stay In Space And Not Fall Back Down To Earth?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

There is an optimum speed such that it won't escape Earth's gravity and also won't fall onto Earth.
The speed the satellite needs to travel should be inversely proportional to the square of the distance from the centre of the Earth.
