The hysterectomy is the removal of uterus from female body. After the surgery you have to take care of few things for 4-6 weeks. These are avoid sex, swimming, bath and douching. After 4-6 weeks you can go for all these things.
You will be able to cleanse yourself again. Please give you body a good amount of time to heal before you introduce bacteria into a place that has been exposed. One thing we as women forget is that our bodies has a natural cleanser, however there are times when we want to cleanse more. Too frequent cleansing can cause infections believe it or not. Also be careful of the material you use after urination. Colored or perfumed tissues can cause infections. Sitting in bathtubs can do the same. Unless your Doctor approves it, I would take only showers for a few weeks. Bathing is never good for a woman. To me we are just bathing in what we washed off if we don't shower afterwards, and I know you can see how this could be especially unclean for females. Sorry for sermon. Hope you are healing well. Best wishes
