What Is The Drama Bookshop?

    The Drama Bookshop is one of the best drama-related literary establishments in the world.  Established in 1917 and located on 250 West 40th Street (between 7th and 8th Avenue) in New York City, New York.

    The shop is on two levels, with the main portion of the shop on the ground floor, where the friendly and helpful staff will assist you with any of your drama and theatre and industry related questions.  Do you need a good monologue for a young Australian male? The staff at the Drama Bookshop will almost certainly know something that you could do.

    With thousands of plays, screenplays, works by Shakespeare, magazines and books on the techiques of writing, directing, acting, producing, stage managing, voice work, movement and dance and accents from all countries and regions.


    The shop is also the home of the Arthur Seelen Theatre, a tiny 50-seater venue, available for rent at reasonable prices.
