I have been having sharp shooting pain back lt side of head x 3 days could it be serious i work in health care do not like to see medical doctors

You really need to go to the doctor, as this does sound serious, it almost sounds like either a clot, hemorrhage, or a stroke, in any case, you do need medical attention. Hope this helps, good luck to you.
