In this case, I would wait at least until the following morning, this is a lot of alcohol and very potent. I am a big Margarita drinker and I wouldn't go anywhere near my car after one, until at least nine the following morning. Many people get into accidents because they are still hung over from the night before and if they aren't hung over, then the alcohol is still affecting their judgement because it is still in their blood stream. Of course it depends on the number of units in each Margarita, I was told, that you should stay away from your car, or avoid a breath test for one hour for each unit of alcohol drunk. Tequila has one unit in it for a single shot. Take your base line from that. However, cocktails tend to have multiple shots or oversized shots, so take that into account.
