How Should An Assignment Be Structured?

A good writing assignment should include the following elements:

An appropriate assignment sheet, Suitable materials to assist the students in completing the given tasks, A description of the expectations. Generally students often get confused with the assignment when it is poorly constructed, hence resulting in miscommunication and eventually in the students faring badly in the tests.

To avoid this, the assignment should tell the students what is expected of them like the following:
The type of writing, Length specifications, Type of subject matter, Target deadline for completion,
Penalty for not meeting requirements or deadlines

Before preparing an assignment one should make sure that one has all the subject matter which is needed, in place. The teacher should do enough research before determining on the questions. Also make a note of the sections and sub sections to be included in the assignment.
