These are natural disasters which usually occur in the tropical rain forests comprising of fires which spreads across the entire region. These are triggered by human negligence ( camp fires, match sticks etc) and forces of nature. Wood at high temperature releases inflammable gases which ignite with oxygen resulting in sparks leading to fires.

Not only in tropical rainforests, and not only caused by humans. Lightning has struck and caused fires that have gone on for weeks. The fires in California??? There was one right here in Connecticut several years ago that burned up the forest on a mountain...caused by lightning. I'm not saying stupid people don't always think before they throw that cigarette, or walk away from a fire pit and leave embers, but don't always blame humans.
