Well changing the RAM in a computer is not as simple as it sounds. Start of by removing the side pane of your CPU. Once the panel is out, you will be able to see the motherboard.
Towards the center on the motherboard you will see a chip of RAM fixed to a particular slot. The RAM is usually attached to the motherboard with the help of two clips, which are placed towards each side of the RAM when attached. To remove the RAM, first unlock these two clips from either side gently. Once the clips are unlocked you can easily remove the RAM.
After removing the old chip of RAM, place the new chip in the same slot, once the RAM is placed, gently press the clips and attach the new RAM onto the motherboard.
