William H Macy, (the H is for Hall) also known as Bill Macy and Macy by his friends is an American actor of note, and husband of the actress Felicity Huffman.  He is both Emmy winning and Oscar-nominated.  He was born in 1950 and comes originally from Miami, Florida.

Macy is known for his role as Jerry in Fargo. Macy began his acting career when his life time friend David Mamet began teaching at Goddard College in Vermont.  He has since starred in a large number of Mamet's plays and films including Spartan, Oleanna, Things Change, State and Main and others.

Macy is known for his liberal leanings and records show his donations to individual democratic politicians.

Macy has appeared as a mute in a beautiful movie called The Wool Cap which is definitely worth a look.

Recently, Macy was quoted as blasting co-star Lindsay Lohan for her behaviour on (and mainly off) set.
