How Can I Get Through To My Over Controlling Mother?
I have been staying with my mother and older brother for about a year now and it's get worse and worse by the day. Last year my mother was laid off, so I told her she could come live with me and my 3 year old son, but a month later, I lost my business so my brother moved in to help out. Now we have moved into a new apartment and my mom and brother are the signers on the lease and she is trying to make my life hell. And is trying to run off my bf!

It is pretty scary. However, there are ways to get around it. First of all make it clear to your mother that you will not tolerate her attitude towards you and your life. And you can make your life on your own and you did them a favor by letting them in. Secondly, also tell her that you love her a lot but you have grown up and you can make your own decisions. And you should be given your space.
