Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

To set the group policy and permissions in ADS, you have to firstly open the group policy snap-in. The icon or the given name of the group policy object is in the console tree. The group policy object for which the user wants to set the group policy and the permissions set in ADS has to be right clicked on. It appears as follows: group policy object name [domain_name] policy. Then you have to click on the link which is called the properties link.

The next step is to click on the security tab, select the options which you want and click on the OK button. You can click on the options which will enable you to either add, remove, the permissions for the users who are authenticated or the advanced options. This is the procedure, in brief, which will help you to set the group policy object and permissions in ADS.
