What If I Like This Dude And Someone Else Likes Him?

They say all's fair in love and war. If you plan to pursue this person, you have to keep in mind that someone else out there, is creating competition.  You should never put down the other individual to this guy as you will only appear catty and he may resent you.  As well, if you try to make trouble for this other person, in trying to eliminate the competition, it may backfire and result in your not having any chance with this guy.  The only way to be a worthy oponnent is to be yourself and be nice.  Do not be someone else because if you do get in a relationship, you will only have to keep up a false you.  Be yourself, and if he likes you, then chances are he will go for you
