Liverpool, a city in the North West of England has many places of interest to visit, dependent on your particular hobbies or past times.
For sports fans the city is home to two of English football's giants. With Liverpool, the most successful team in the history of the English game, and Everton both playing their home games with in two miles of the city centre, in the boroughs of Anfield and Walton respectively.
Elsewhere, the city is also home to the famous horse race The Grand National, a yearly steeplechase event held at the world famous Aintree race course.
The city is also steeped in a rich maritime history, with the Albert dock a popular destination for tourists, with the site decorated in fine shops, luxury accommodation and excellent eateries.
