How Do You Live God's Way?

To live God's way means to obey the Ten Commandments, to follow all the laws endowed to His people by God which served as the guidelines to guide every part of their lives and to develop their own moral fabric and personal character within the limits of God's own decrees of love.

God provided Israel with the standards of right and wrong, and taught them the exact definitions of the words good and evil. He set up a code of conduct, which was basically a set of civil laws, for the faithful to follow.

To live God's way is basically to keep the promises which you make and not to fail to keep your part of the agreement, trust God's leadership and your own abilities, instincts and plans. To live God's way is to be honest, to maintain good health and clean habits at all times, to help the poor and needy, to care for the weak and to participate in charitable activities.

Obey the commandments.
1. Have no gods before me
you may not love anyone more than you love God.
2. Have no idols
Do not worship or put more importance on any thing, or anyone other than God
3. Do not use Gods name in vain
Do not swear, Use Gods name in a loving way, never to express anger or frustration.
4.Keep the sabbath holy
One day of your week( usually sunday) should be set for rest and the worship of God. Relax and meet other christians.
5.Honor your father and mother
Be respectful to your parents. Love them and God will reward you with a longer life
6.Do not murder
Do  not kill anyone, dont even think about doing something which would hurt anyone.
7. Do not commit adultery
Sex is a gift given by God to married couples.
8. Do not steal
Dont take what doesnt belong to you.
9. Do not give false testimony
You may not tell lies.
10. Do not be jealous of what other people have.
Be thankful for what you have, dont be jealous of what others have.
Do this and you will be living right.

It's so easy to listen yet hard to follow...i do struggle in that...but god did the best for us..so we must appreciate and obey to his words...then you would get abundant blessings....you have to read the bible especially the New Testament...to draw you closer to god...may God bless you always...take care...
