Just changed the fuel pump and everything seems ok power everywhere sounds normal fuel pump engages when trying to start but doesn't. Could it be the injectors, or?

It's because of ignition wires or ignition itself that is making trouble to start. If fuel pump is just engaging then you must see that you have not placed fuel pump correctly or fuel pipes have some flow problems.

I've had fuel problems with my 96 as well and I have done the sending unit, pump and filter. My next step will be to blow the lines then ill break down and ask the truck whats wrong. If your fuel pumps start going out let say every 10 to 12 months... Fix it-sell it Or just do what im going to do. Take out the motor and plant flowers in it.
