Does Anyone Have Any Ideas On A Colts Horseshoe Cake For My Sons Birthday?
I already have a horseshoe cake pan and I think I know what I am going to do but I wanted to see if anyone else had a better idea. Thank you in advance for your help:) Oh yeah also it is not just a horseshoe the middle of the horseshoe is going to be cake also, it is a pantastic horseshoe cake pan, if that helps because I am not so good at describing stuff.

I made a football cake,and cupcakes. I decorated the football with chocolate icing. My son's favorite is Peyton, so we placed his number on the ball. I used cupcakes to make a horseshoe. We frosted wiht white icing,then boarderd with blue icing. The cupcakes are great for kids parties. Less mess and can make several shapes.

You could make your cake, from a round pan....and freeze it or get it really cold and then carve your horseshoe..to what ever dimensions you need....I carve out a lot of shapes...I get a picture...and then I draw up my plans and then go to town...you will surprise yourself on how artsy you can be in a pinch...I am getting ready to do a colts cake for my nephew....I got the football helmet pan...then I am going to work it out to make a small football and a horseshoe and assemble them all on one board to look fab....really stick with your instinct....you will do fine....
