What Are The National Parks Called In Serbia?

    Linguistically, the word park is still "park" in Serbia. The word for national in Serbian is "nacionalni". Therefore "natonal park" in Serbia would read "nacionalni park".

    The national parks in Serbia are:

    Derdap (nacionalni park Derdap): It is situated very close to the Sip dam. The Derdap gorge is noted for its exceptional beauty. One can see a lot of Roman architecture, including a fort, and archeological finds dating back to Neolithic man 8,000 years ago.
    Kopaonik: Has beautiful mountains and forest regions.
    Tara: famous for its mountains and beautiful gorges. It's famous also for Drina Gorge, which steeps down from 1000 to 250 m, and provides a breathtaking view all the way to Bosnia.
    Sar mountain: the park lies within the boundaries of Serbia, Macedonia and Kosovo.
    Fruska Gora: To the north of Serbia with part of the picturesque mountain in Croatia.
