What Client-end Software I Need To Install For Playing Online Math Games?

Answer Question

Usually in most of the cases, the answer is none. You do not need to install and run any extra software than those are already present in your system. All you need is an updated version of web browser such as Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator or Opera (I personally recommend using Internet Explorer) and Java Script enabled in it.

In some cases, there are few sites that need to install and run Java (Java Virtual Machine – JVM) in order to participate in their online math games. For those sites, you may need to visit www.java.com and download the latest version of JVM and install it in your system as recommended. In few cases, the sites may ask to install and run Flash Plug-in to play the games. For these cases, you should visit www.adobe.com and install and run the latest version of Flash Player in your system.

Most of the cases, the games are built with Java Script. So a user does not need to install any additional support in order to play the game. But if the Java Script feature is disabled in your browser, you may need to enable it. The Java Script feature is automatically enabled in Internet Explorer 5.5 and beyond.
