    3x2 +19x-14=0

    Using the quadratic formula which is as follows:

    x = {- b + (b2 - 4ac)1/2}/2a

    x = {- 19 + (192 - 4(3)(-14))1/2}/2*3

    x = {- 19 + (361 + 168)1/2}/6

    x = {- 19 + (529)1/2}/6

    Therefore, answer is x = {- 19 - (529)1/2}/6 or

    x = {- 19 + (529)1/2}/6

    X = (-19±√529)/6 = (-19±23)/6
    x = -42/6 = -7
    x = 4/6 = 2/3
    The roots are -7 or 2/3. The equation can be factored as (x+7)(3x-2)=0, confirming that result.
