Where Is The Fuel Filter On A 2004 Dodge Stratus 4 Cylinder Located?

My wife ran the car out of gas about 3 weeks ago since then it has died twice with a quarter tank of gas ,I'm hoping that changing the fuel filter is the problem.

The fuel filter is located in the rear near the fuel tank. If that does not fix it you will probably have to replace the fuel pump as trying to start the car with no fuel there is no lubrication flowing thru the fuel pump and you could have lost the ability to create adequate fuel pressure.

When you put in FRESH fuel dose it get better? Try it then! It will almost for sure start for a while. And when it dose YOU messed up the fuel pump, and it's in the gas tank!

The fuel filter is part of the fuel pump assembly. I just replaced the fuel pump in my stratus SE. I am STILL having issues with it starting.
