Well if you are using a database like Microsoft Access or the SQL for maintaining the records of the users then you can select the different records simultaneously. You can use the query options which are available in both the database and the SQL to retrieve the data from the records. So you can also use the query in order to retrieve the records from the database very easily. You will make the queries and in the query you will define the location of two records and then you need to tell in the query that you require only specific data from the these two records so the database query will search the specific records of data for you so that you can view and get the results of what you was looking for.

Queries are designed with the features to retrieve data from the thousands of records so it is easy for you that you can find the records of your own choice from the large databases of the records. So this is an easy way you can retrieve the records you can look up the SQL reference if you do not know about using the queries.
