How Can I Spot A Zombie?

Luckily it is quite easy to spot a Zombie (unless they have literally just become one). They stagger, moan a lot, will try to grab you, look pale, are technically dead, oh, and yes, will be trying to eat you. Look for the vacant look, the drooling and the fact that they probably have blood smeared across their face and clothing. And it won't be their blood!

If you ever need to picture a zombie in your minds eye, think of Michael Jackson in his Thriller video and compare them to that.

Generally, a zombie will be covered in blood (from its recent conversion or past victims) and lacking a weapon.  

A shambling zombie may be easier to mistake for a drunk or a vagrant (excusing obvious signs of walking on broken legs/stumps, missing limbs, etc.)    A running type may have the same appearance, but will approach you at a high rate of speed, giving you little time for confirmation.

Of course, at the beginning of the zombie apocalypse, it will be more difficult to identify a zombie (given to disbelief and a human's tendency to find rationale in an improbable and unbelievable situation.)

Once the apocalypse hits full swing, it will be safe to assume that any blood-soaked, crazed individual approaching you lacking proper verbalization skills (and no weapon) will likely be a zombie.
