Is It Normal For A Dog To Bleed Two Months In A Row?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

This is not normal.  At the beginning of heat, you may see bloody discharge from the vagina.  This gradually become straw coloured and usually lasts only a couple of weeks.  If your female has been showing continued bleeding it could be an indication of infection, cancer or trauma. Your dog needs to be examined by a veterinarian to investigate the cause.
