Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Orange County is home to about million people and the sixth largest county in Florida. While Orange County may be synonymous with theme parks, don't forget there is mile upon mile of sandy beaches. St. Petersburg-Tampa on the Gulf of Mexico and Daytona Beach on the Atlantic Coast are popular and an easy drive.

And there's also fabulous shopping malls lined with designer boutiques and restaurants and nightlife to rival anywhere in America.

Orange County is also a haven for golfers, with well over 40 courses to choose from and PGA professionals on hand to give expert tuition whether you're a novice or low handicapper. Teeing off times are bookable up to 120 days in advance.

Orange County has good air links, being served by three airports, Orlando International Airport, which handles over 29 million passengers per annum, is located nine miles south east of downtown Orlando, Orlando Sanford International Airport 18 miles north east of Orlando, and Orlando Executive Airport is handily located three miles from the business and financial centre of Central Florida.
