How Do You Explain To A Child That They Cant Sue You Because They Don't Like What You Told Them To Do?

Tell them ok sue me but your still going to do what i asked you to do, you are the parent what ever you say goes but let your child no that you are dominate not in a fearful way and put your foot down because it will pay off in a long run, i have two daughter ones 24 one 26 one is a college professor at michigan state university and the other is a united states marine currently stationed over seas, but ever Since my girls were little they were raised to always show and have respect towards people look at them now there lives have just started. I was very stern with my children but very lenient at the same time if that makes any since, they need to no when its ok to do and say certain things but they do not need to be treated like prisoners, i hope you take what ive said into consideration and god bless
