Most recently, the United Nations refugee agency has reported about the expelling of around 100000 Afghan refugees by Iran.  This was actually part of Iran's campaign to remove illegal refugees from its state.  On an estimate, about 1000 refugees are being deported every single day through the course of two border points, as according to the representative of the United Nations High Commission for Refugeees Salvatore Lombardo.  Approximately this drive has been going on since the 21st of April and almost about 100000 Afghan refugees have been deported back to their homeland (Afghanistan).  However Afghanistan has requested Iran to slow down its deportation process as the present situation does not allow Afghanistan to contain the capacity of accomodating to the swiftly increasing number of refugees.  According to Salvatore Lombardo, most of these Afghan refugees were single men who were there in Iran for an ephemeral period of time after which they would have returned back to their homeland.
