    Density is defined as the mass per unit of volume of a specific material. It is denoted by the Greek letter  ρ which is spoken as rho. Mathematically, the formula for density is given by :

    ρ = m/v

    where
    ρ  stands for density
    m stands for Mass
    V stands for Volume

    Archimedes is responsible for finding this measure.
