What Do You Know About Chivalry In Today's World?

I will speak here personally but for me chivalry is not dead. Although confronted with an almost continual barrage of those who want to prove they can be more vulgar than I can I refrain from using coarse language around ladies. I'm occasionally invited out for a meal by a lady friend and although she might be in a better financial position than I she never pays, I always pick up the tab; ladies don't buy. I always check when entering or exiting a public place whether there is a lady near so I can allow them to enter or exit before me, the automatic doors do make this bit of chivalry almost a mute point. Even when exposed to deceptive tactics for whatever reason on this site by a member of the fairer sex I restrain myself from going to that level.
In a text message two days ago Nassy referred to me as a "hopeless romantic". So there you have it, I guess I am a chivalrous pig.  

No, I don't believe chivalry is dead, even in this day and age with women's lib and competition with men and women.  I enjoy having a man open a door for me, and just treating me like a lady.  It doesn't mean I'm not independent, just that chivalry should be brought back to society more in today's world.

The men around me are very chivalrous. Even the young ones tip their hats, open doors, offer seats. To heck with the battle of the sexes.

No, there are still some real gentlemen in the world.....And I married one of them! And to Pat-----Awwwwww......Ain't he a sweety!
