I'm Reviewing For A Test After Being Out Of School For 30 Years. How Do I Divide A Whole Number By A Fraction?

The problem I am working on is very simple: 10 divided by 3 4/5. I know I'm supposed to take the 3 and turn it into an improper fraction 19/5 then flip it 5/19 and multiple it by what I'm need to divide it by, but I'm not real sure what I'm supposed to do with the 10. Do I make it 10/10? And if I do that, what do I do next? Am I on the right track?

10/1 is the way to set up a whole number as a fraction. So your problem should be 5/19 multiplied by 10/1 or 19/5 multiplied by 1/10.
