 March is a parish and market town. It is located in the county of Cambridgeshire in the United Kingdom. Cambridgeshire is a county located in the East of England region. It is the head of a county court district as well that of a petty sessional division.

March is an important junction railway station. It is located on the Great Eastern and Great northern Railway lines. It is located at a distance of about 88 miles from London, the capital of England, 29 miles to the north of the city of Cambridge, 14 miles to the northwest of the town of Ely and nine miles to the south of the town of Wisbech.

The town of March is situated on the banks of the River Nene. It has a population of approximately 19, 042, according to the census of population figures of the year 2001. It is located at latitude of 52 degrees and 33 minutes to the north and a longitude of zero degrees and five minutes to the east.
