Milwich is a tiny indifferently erected village, in a low area, situated near a small brook on the Uttoxeter road, five miles ESE of stone. The village consists of five hundred and sixty three residents; the total land area is around two thousand eight hundred and thirty acres, which contains settlements of Coton, one mile east, Garshall Green, one mile north, and Dayhills, one mile west, of Milwich. The land belongs to George Lewis Dyve, Esq, the Earl of Macclesfield, Edward Buller, Esq, Lord Scarsdale and many other small landlords.

The parish church of Milwich known as "All Saints" was reconstructed in the year 1795, apart from for the tower. The Milwich parish became a part of the Stone Union after the Poor Law Amendement Act was passed in the year 1834.
