After giving birth to kittens, nursing period starts in cats. Dietary requirements of this period are not different from the pregnancy. Mother not only has to fulfill her requirements but also needs energy to produce milk for the kitten.So, dietary requirement of pregnant and nursing cat is 25-30% high than a non nursing cats. So, you should increase her diet not only in quantity but also increase the number of serving per day. You should give her nutritious diet.
