The term stroll generally means to go for a leisurely walk. There is also a famous dance form based on strolling, know as the Jitterbug Stroll.
The jitterbug stroll primarily is a swing line dance initially composed by Ryan Francois, who was a well know Lindy Hop dancer cum teacher. The jitterbug dance is usually performed on specific music like the Woodchopper's Ball and The Jitterbug Stroll latest version, created by Steven Mitchell.
The dance is arranged in group's six bars of eight beats each. Each unit of six bars faces a diverse direction on the dance floor. Which means the dancers take a 90 degree turn every six bars; every unit of six bars is arranged in such a particular way which goes as, three bars of a signature step, one bar of stroll around turn, one bar of signature step and one bar of break step which helps the performer to take a ninety degree turn.
