I Have 2 Older Male Cats. They Are Pissing On My Carpet & Their Cat Box Is Clean. It Is A Lot And More Than 1 Spot. They Never Do It In Front Of Me. It's So Stink. What Can I Do?

My cats are 16 and 13( human yrs) with this problem and I'm almost ready to give them up as much as I love them. This has been going on for almost as long as I've had them. They are making my room a dumping ground. I even find it hard to sleep. I've taken days off from work just to deep clean my bedroom carpet. But any carpet I put down they will let it have it also. I don't understand their issues with carpet. IT'S MAKING ME CARZY.

I'm gonna talk to you in your cats eyes. Cats are very smart and your cats are quite elderly. Its a fact, that when a cat uses a litter box and when your gone, they urinate on your carpet. What they are doing is getting even with you for leaving them. Your probably laughing, but i swear, its a fact. I've seen it before many times. Be thankful they're not urinating on your pillow. Ive seen that before also. Go to your pet store. They have a spray formula that you spray on areas where your cats are going, and it eliminates this problem.

Thank you for your help and I do find truth in what your saying but eventhough my cats are older they have always done this.they even do it when I am home.They just don't do it where i can catch them. they never do it in front of me, which would lead me to say- I'm not even sure if both of them are pissing and if only one is pissing which one is pissing. They sleep in my room at night and instead of walking out my bedroom and using the liter box ,which is right outside my bedroom door they will use my carpet.They are extremely spoiled they follow me with every step I make.When I sleep I have one around neck or across my forehead and the other at my feet.I do feel they are punishing me for something but I'm not sure if it's me leaving for work. And thank god they don't piss on my pillow. I would really have to get rid of them then....and I love my little babies soo much i would die and they probably would too being I'm the only mom they've ever none. I rocked them to sleep as babies. they are really rotten.
